Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Snap2Photos ("the App"), developed by Khalid Warsame ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Snap2Photos, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age
• Have read and understood these Terms
• Agree to be bound by these Terms
• Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

2. Description of Service

Snap2Photos is a mobile application that allows you to:

• Import your Snapchat Memories data export files
• Download your photos and videos from Snapchat's servers
• Save them to your iPhone's Photo Library with preserved metadata
• Organize imported memories in a dedicated album

The App processes data entirely on your device and does not require an account or store your data on external servers.

3. Your Responsibilities

When using the App, you agree to:

• Own Your Content: Only import Snapchat data exports that belong to you or that you have permission to access.
• Comply with Snapchat's Terms: Ensure your use of exported Snapchat data complies with Snapchat's Terms of Service.
• Respect Copyright: Not use the App to import, process, or distribute content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
• Use Responsibly: Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or misuse the App.

4. Snapchat Data Exports

Snap2Photos is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Snap Inc. or Snapchat.

• The App relies on Snapchat's data export feature, which is subject to Snapchat's terms and policies.
• Download links in Snapchat exports expire after 7 days. We are not responsible for expired links.
• Changes to Snapchat's export format may affect the App's functionality.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Khalid Warsame and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices
• Use the App's name or branding without permission

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle (or more accurately, don't handle) your information.

Key points:

• All processing occurs on your device
• We do not collect, store, or transmit your data
• No analytics or tracking services are used

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Any content or data lost during the import process
• Any issues arising from Snapchat's services, including expired download links

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Khalid Warsame from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

10. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Update, change, or remove features
• Change pricing for future versions or features

We are not obligated to provide updates, support, or maintenance.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Updating the "Effective Date" at the top
• Providing notice within the App for material changes

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate by uninstalling the App. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete any copies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
