This Privacy Policy describes how Snap2Photos ("the App"), developed by Khalid Warsame ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Snap2Photos is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:

• Your photos, videos, or any media content
• Location data or GPS coordinates from your memories
• Personal information or identifiers
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Any data from your Snapchat export files

How the App Works

Snap2Photos operates entirely on your device:

• ZIP File Processing: Your Snapchat data export is unzipped and processed locally on your iPhone. The files never leave your device.
• Media Downloads: Photos and videos are downloaded directly from Snapchat's servers to your device. We do not proxy, intercept, or store these files.
• Metadata Preservation: Original dates and GPS coordinates from your Snapchat memories are written directly to your photos using on-device processing.
• Photo Library: Imported memories are saved to your iPhone's Photo Library under your control.

Permissions We Request

The App requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• Photo Library Access: Required to save imported memories to your Photos app. We request this permission only when you're ready to save photos.
• Notifications: Optional permission to notify you when imports complete. We only request this when sending a notification.

We do not request access to your device's location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive permissions.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device:

• Import Progress: Stored in a local database to enable resume functionality.
• Temporary Files: Downloaded media files are temporarily stored during processing and automatically deleted after successful import.
• Preferences: App settings are stored locally on your device.

You can clear all app data at any time from the Settings screen within the App.

Third-Party Services

Snap2Photos does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not contain:

• Analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising frameworks
• Social media tracking pixels
• Crash reporting services that collect personal data

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data. Your memories, metadata, and personal information remain exclusively on your device under your control.

Children's Privacy

Snap2Photos does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is designed for general audiences and processes only data that users explicitly choose to import.

Security

Since all processing occurs on your device and no data is transmitted to external servers, your information benefits from iOS's built-in security protections including:

• Device encryption
• App sandboxing
• Secure Enclave protection

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) are not applicable. However, you maintain full control over your data:

• Delete imported photos from your Photo Library at any time
• Clear all app data from the Settings screen
• Uninstall the App to remove all local data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
